    the Wit
    (76% dark, 19% spontaneous, 21% vulgar)
    your humor style:
    CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK

You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.

I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.

Your sense of humor takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.

You probably loved the Office. If you don't know what I'm

There is no such thing in life as normal.....

Well. I am now somewhat less employed than i was at this time last week. This is almost the first time in about 10 years i don't work at a theatre and i find that somewhat odd (and a little unpleasant), turns out to have been a case of doing the right thing for the wrong reason, which gets you to the same place i would imagine. I also managed to avoid telling anyone why i was quiting. which is a result ;-)

The net result of this is that i'm going to need to economise somewhat from here on in (the original part was to sell nick for parts on ebay, but no bids - so its back to the drawing board) and i need to find a place to live as of the first of june (-ish) giving my current (lack) of purchasing power it will most likely be flat-share sort of things, which will involve me convincing someone that they want to live with me. I'm not wholly sure how you go about this. but i dare say i'll work it out.

Other than this? Like the new Graham Coxon and Morrisey albums alot. Think the Google Calender thing is cool and am looking for events to fill it up.

To be honest. you can tell what sort of day its been by the fact that walking into a door was the highlight.

I went to see The Crucible at the RSC in Stratford (http://www.rsc.org.uk/home/2872.aspx) on Wednesday and enjoyed it immensely

It was a book that i was made to study at school, and as such i was left with the a distinct dislike of it (the same with pretty well everything i did at that stage - with the exception of The Lord of the Flies). The setting and acting this time around were both absolutely subwerb and it gave the story a lot of of its impact back. Maybe i'll check out the film too - i've heard good things about it.

I then went and drank whiskey until 2am in a bar that looked like someones house where they played cartoons on the walls. This had the result of giving me a grand total of two hours sleep before i had to get up and get the train to work. this was less entertaining. but well worth it ;)

I Give Up. I Really Do.

    Hmph.

There are days when I really don't think I understand anything that goes on. But you can hardly dwell on it. Mistakes or no Mistakes these things will resolve themselves.

"Though this be madness, yet there is method in 't."

Right. Well apparently i don't update this enough. I'm of the opinion that if nothing interesting is happening i'm not terribly keen on talking about it, but i suppose thats my own fault for not getting out there and finding the interesting things that are doubtless happening elsewhere. or somesuch.

Right, well. Firstly (and if you haven't already) i would recommend going and having a listen to Pirates, the self confessed 'Podcastcom' by some friends of mine - it can be found at http://www.aboutblankmedia.com/pirates.htm and is really terribly good.

As for an update, i genuinely haven't been up to very much, christmas and new years were both very sober and quiet, after a rather frightening drunken episode in october got me off the beer for a while. Both my jobs are still as you'd expect, with the Theatre getting rather more bearable and the Bank rather less so, i'd like a new job - but can't think of any i'd like. Any suggestions are of course welcome.

I really, really will try and think of something interesting to say at some point.

I'm now .75% more qualified than i was yesterday. and am now "David Catley BA. (Hons) Cert.ICSA" apparently.

this is not very impressive. I think i need more letters.

I also have a PSP. which is nice. and more than makes up for the fact i never go anywhere except work(s).

    01. Reply with your name and I will write something about you.
    02. I will then tell what song/movie reminds me of you.
    03. If I were to apply an o'clock to you, it would be...
    04. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
    05. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.
    06. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.

    Tell me a story

Well. its a nice day, and the last of my holiday - back to regurgitating tedious words for money on monday. I've managed to break firefox (it wouldn't open new windows) so i've spend a bit re-doing bookmarks and the like - does anyone have webpages i really should be looking at?

    Who Should You Vote For?

Who should I vote for? v2

    Your expected outcome:

    Labour

    Your actual outcome:

    Labour 31
    Conservative -6
    Liberal Democrat 21
    UKIP -12
    Green 23

    You should vote: Labour

The Labour Party is broadly pro-Europe and takes a strong line in favour of all anti-terrorism measures, and of course supported the war in Iraq. Labour is against explicit increases in income tax to fund public services and against the abolition of university tuition fees, but has pledged to reintroduce maintenance grants for students.
